Speaker:  Mark Vogl: A graduate of THE CITADEL, Mark Vogl s a decorated Army officer, a former Asst. Professor at Fordham University, and a political aide to New York State Senator Caesar Trunzo.  He is the author of five books and writes two columns, America Today and the Rebel Mountain Perspective. Mark's role as a national leader on veterans issues was reported in Reader's Digest.  His articles have been featured in Newsday and the Gilmer Mirror,  Mark's political experience is extensive at both the election and governing sides of America.  Mark and his wife Barbara, a retired Lt. Colonel herself, live on Rebel Mountain in Latch, Texas.

Topic: Christmas 2016 is the 25th Anniversary of the end of the Cold War, and with it, the entire world changed!  One historian compares the end of the Cold War, with the Reformation, the creation of the United States, and World War II in terms of its significance to world history.  Mark Vogl will speak to the Cold War, what it was, when it was, the fruits of victory, and the Post Cold War era and globalism.  The purpose of this talk is to understand and consider the world we live in today.
